Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata at Norma’s

Norma’s, on the ground floor of the upscale Le Parker Meridien Hotel, has always taken breakfast as serious business, so it should come as no surprise that a six-egg omelet worth $1,000 would claim a permanent spot on the already pricey menu here.

Made with an entire lobster tail and topped with 10 ounces of Sevruga caviar, the dish also comes in a more manageable $100 version that contains a single ounce of caviar. A favorite with the expense-account set, the restaurant has sold a dozen Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittatas since the dish debuted in 2004, and they regularly sell about 10 of its smaller sibling per week.
