Saturday: Bemelmans Bar

Go high class on Saturday night at Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side. Enjoy free bowls of chips, spiced nuts, crackers and cheese while you sip on one of their famous martinis (which, of course, you’ll need to spring for). Rare classic cocktails like the Valencia (fino sherry, orange oil, gin, flaming orange peel) and the Champino (Campari, sweet vermouth, champagne and lemon) will take you back to a different era—and complete a truly VIP experience.

Come early, though: After 9:30 p.m., there’s a cover charge of $25 per person at a table, or $15 at the bar.
