You’re from Austin, Texas, and flew up here to audition. What’s up with your show?
It’s “Iron Chef” meets a Japanese game show.
Outside of previous television experience, what do you bring to the table?
I’ve done everything from fine dining to hot dogs. French, Italian, Asian fusion, Southwestern fusion, pizza.
What’s most difficult about cooking on TV?
Not acting. You want to look good for the camera, which sometimes makes you not be yourself.
