Maybe the look of this restaurant isn't that good, but the food here is delicious. They serve very unique food unlike other restaurants in Greenpoint. The prices in this restaurant can be compared to sandwich prices because these huge portions start from $5. The girl that works behind the cash register is always happy and ready to take orders.

Dont be fooled by the looks of this restaurant. The food selection is purely Polish. The menu on a large board is in Polish. HOWEVER they will happily give you a paper english translation menu. You order at the rear counter and have a seat at a cafeteria style table. when your food is ready they will call you to get your food.
The prices are very reasonable.(prices are $5.00 to $8.00) Portions are huge. Food is served HOT not luke warm. Main dishes come with a starch(kasha or potato) 2 homemade sides and polish bread.
I have eaten here for years. The food has never left me down or hungry. TRY ANYTHING you wont be disappointed.
