This the is the landmark first restaurant from noted chef Daniel Boulud, one of the great French chefs. Since its opening in 1993, Daniel has been widely considered one of the best in the world, and with a dining room that looks like 1940s Hollywood, it is truly a decadent setting. As you might expect, the food is both beyond compare and beyond expensive. If you are fortunate enough to score reservations, look at the two prix-fixe menus, which feature three courses for $96 or six courses for $155. The menu changes with the seasons, so you never know what you will be in store for. A luxury lounge sits adjacent to the restaurant.
