The Mermaid Inn: User Reviews
The Mermaid Inn is absolutely delicious. The menu is filled with variations on seafood fare (salad, spaghetti, filet, etc) - everything completely is fresh and prepared just right. Dinner ends with a complimentary mini cup of chocolate pudding. A great date restaurant or just when you're craving super fresh seafood.

This is a great setting with one of the best lobster rolls in NYC. The owners are the nicest. This is the type of place you'll want to go back to again and again if you live/work in the E. Village. You get a 'shot' of chocolate pudding automatically for dessert (delicious), and you also get a red fish thingie(?) with your check that determines your personality / mental state. Kind of like a mood ring. But it's a fish.
