Let me begin by saying that I love deli, so I am bias, but considering the value of Lansky's and how good the food is, this is the best new restaurant on the Upper West side. The weekend brunch is the place to be, always busy, and delicious. The matzoh ball soup is absolutely the best. They have something they call a devil dog, it is a foot long deep fried hot dog with a large selection of toppings, wow!! The burgers are huge and better than Shake Shack. Portions are large here, so save room for the strawberry cheesecake, love it. In fact I am in love with Lansky's.

Tasty & delicous. Priced super great-soup & sandwich for $8, pancakes with eggs & bacon $6, cheescake & banana pudding $4.75. But the real deal is the amazing food. The pastrami is perfectly seasoned & piled high, the soups hot and delicious, the pancakes super light & fluffy, cheesecake is rich & creamy, the banana pudding is addictive.
I am so happy they are in my hood! Clean-efficient-welcoming and overall, I keep going back!

The food is amazing! The brisket is some of the best I have ever had...adn I have eaten some brisket in my day. I like the center cut tongue the with toasty seeded rye, the super rich cheesecake is to die for, and the giant bugers-not your traditional deli fare is worth the trip alone. Super juicy, and scrumptious. The black and white cookie is cakey and the frosting is perfect. I can't wait to try all their food. Its super cheap, so it's totally do-able. I was thinking of hosting a B-Day party, and they can obviously accomidate. The manager was great in telling me that they also cater, incase I decided not to do it there.
