Sputnik is more venue than bar, and the goal is to make you think while you drink. They make sure you do so by hosting a variety of local musicians, poet, activists and film-makers in their 5,000 square foot, bi-level space. When there's not a concert or performance going on, the bar is crowded with chattering hipsters and students taking advantage of the 2-for-1 happy hour special and the bar's limited selection of tasty paninis.
