It’s hard to figure out what’s the bigger draw at this Union Square standby: the food or the waitstaff, who are so notoriously stunning, they’ve made the restaurant a de rigueur rite of passage for aspiring models looking to wait tables before hitting the big time. If you do get around to eyeballing the menu, you’ll find South American cuisine with a strong Brazilian accent: churrasquino carioca (steak sandwich with peppers and onions), shrimp baiano (sauteed with peppers, cilantro, garlic and coconut) and sancocho de gallina (traditional South American chicken soup).
