The Good Fork
- Neighborhood: Red Hook
- 391 Van Brunt St.
- Brooklyn, NY 11231
- 718-643-6636
Haute cuisine has never been associated with Red Hook. The Good Fork, however, has certainly changed that. Relying heavily on new American recipes (with a dash of Korean thrown in), this up-and-coming neighborhood spot has become the anchor for local foodies. Dishes incorporate fresh produce from Added Value, the local organic farm, and are served in a cute orange–and–exposed-brick-wall dining room. The place may be a bit of a trek, but it's the experience is rewarding.
