New York's last remaining brewpub, the Chelsea Brewing Company continues to serve "gourmet pub cuisine," wine, Scotch and a vast selection of Chelsea Brewing Co. beers, including their popular Checker Cab Ale, from their waterside perch in the Chelsea Piers. It's a surprisingly gorgeous spot, with sunlight shining on the copper fermenters behind the bar, super-high ceilings and a room filled with gleaming wood banquettes and tables. The food is more or less standard pub fare, but the views of the marina can't be beat—and it's good to support your local brewers.
