Patrons of Five Spot don't necessarily come here to eat the heavy soul food -- although the ribs and Po' Boys are tasty -- they come to groove to the DJ spinning every night of the week. The restaurant keeps a well stocked bar with an entire menu of beachy mixed drinks, making it easy to understand why one customer called it "the happiest place on Earth'' (or at least Fort Greene).
