The NYC Wine and Food Festival wouldn’t be complete without a taste of Brooklyn’s best. "Man vs. Food" star Adam Richman hosted Brooklyn’s Bounty on Saturday night, bringing together some of the borough’s tastiest bites and best eateires under one roof, from Gravesend’s L&B Spumoni Gardens to Williamsburg’s Fette Sau.
Outside of The Green Building in Carroll Gardens, a few favorite food trucks lined up, including Solber’s Pupusas fresh off of their recent Vendy Awards win. Inside, Buttermilk Channel’s roasted sweet potato and pumpkin soup was a perfect match for the first real chilly night of fall. We caught some attendees finding another way to warm up with a few shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey with pickle backs!
We also loved the simple but classic roast beef au jus sandwich from Brennan & Carr’s. The Chocolate Room’s chocolate layer cake was one of the best we’ve ever tasted—all it needed was a glass of milk to wash it down!
