From what I hear it’s between DBGB and Marea. He’s already been to Marea three times.
We interviewed you at your lounge last year. What’s the biggest thing that’s changed in the NYC dining and nightlife blogging world?
We launched national. Grub Street went national. I know The Feedbag is working on something. There’s a lot of growth online—which you can see from all these magazines folding. The New York Times is upping their presence. The Village Voice has a much better blog than last year.
What will be the big stories in the next six months?
As far as openings, The Breslin is going to be huge. We were just talking to Geoffrey Zakarian about his lamb club, which is really awesome. I’m sure there will be a new cheap fad. Fried chicken is hopefully heading on its way out.
