Over the past couple months, we've been posing one essential question to some of our favorite New York City culinary pros, including Ryan Skeen, Leah Cohen, Joey Campanaro and Christina Tosi. It's not a burning question. Chefs don't do burning.
Previously we heard about home-cooked meals and the last time chefs lost their shit in the kitchen. This time, with only days until our bloodiest, most-gruesome national holiday, we asked the chefs for just that: their bloodiest, most-gruesome kitchen injury ever witnessed. Survey says: severed digits, bubbling skin and a runaway pasta machine. Crunch!
