Who's serving what at the NYC Wine & Food Fest's premier event
The second anual New York City Wine & Food Festival hits our restaurant-obsessed city Oct. 8–11. (We'll be on the scene to report and photograph all the extreme sugar binges, boozy chef interviews and burger gluttony).
The cornerstone of the four-day event is the Grand Tasting, a $150, three-hour tour through the kitchens of some of New York's culinary heavyweights. Who, you ask? And what will they be serving? We reached out to nine participating chefs for a first look at their menus, as well as their brutal prep schedules and late-night memories from food festivals of yore.
Interview include Seamus Mullen (Boqueria), Julian Medina (Yerba Buena), Daniel Angerer (Klee), Anthony Fusco (Harbour), Amanda Cohen (Dirt Candy), David Suarez (Rosa Mexicano Union Square), Dave Schuttenberg (Cabrito), Sunitha Ramaiah (Bombay Talkie) and Emilie Bousquet (BLT Fish Shack) —Matt Rodbard
