We brought a psychic to NYC's cursed restaurant spaces—here's her reading on each. It's destiny!
There's no shortage of jinxed joints in New York City. You know, restaurant spaces where nothing seems to stay open for long—a revolving door of failed eateries. Locations like, say, 308 Bleecker Street, which since 2006 has been home to Vittorio, Bar Q, Choptank and, most recently, Caffe Muzio.
But what makes these places fail? Does bad mojo have anything to do with it? We went to an expert for the answer—an expert psychic, that is. Say hello to Jasmine Hirst, a professional psychic-medium from Australia who now lives in Midtown. We didn’t tell her where we were going or the history of each restaurant space. We just brought her there and asked for her impromptu reading. Real or hoax? You decide!
