The folks behind another Tribeca fave, Dylan Prime, decided to grow their mini-chain in 2006 with the casually elegant Devin Tavern. The gorgeous brick lined room features the kind of archways and fireplaces you'd find in an Adirondack mountain house. Be prepared for some sticker shock though as the mostly meaty menu hovers around the $30 mark, making it a bit more upscale than most taverns.

Deadliest Catch, an Alaskan King Crab duette of grilled king crab legs over a bed of sauteed spinach with a flat iron steak (tail of the crab) lightly breaded, seared, and served over a citrus salad.
Appetizers: House smoked herb crusted trout with lobster strudel dill brown butter and sunnyside quail egg.
Entree: Wild boar chop, sage tattoo - sage leaf that is seared onto the meat, spinach spatzle, red cabbage, and cauliflower puree. The boar is brined for four days with herbs, practially cured before cooking.
