The owner of this downtown place is a former manager at Peter Luger's, and he's brought his love for dry-aged steaks, good bread and classic side dishes across the river and into an old-fashioned dining room near the South Street Seaport. You can pretty much ignore any entree that isn't beef, the exceptions being the meaty double lamb chops and the bacon appetizer. Otherwise, look to the rib steak, sirloin, and filet mignon.
