Momoya

Good Upper West Side sushi usually means vapid, non-existent decor (think Sushi of Gari). Not here, where somebody's obviously put thought into the stylish white-marble design—probably because this is the second outpost of Momoya's Chelsea spot, and along with the sexy downtown atmosphere the former Nobu chef brings the same modern touches to fresh fish dishes (try the spicy tuna roll wrapped in flaming yellowtail and the sweet potato tempura).
