The Mariah Carey of Mexican food, Stephen Hanson's third overstuffed, glammed-up guacamole hotspot (the two others are in SoHo and on Park Ave.) tries harder to be stylish and sexy than authentic. The scene kicks off with 100 tequilas and makes its way through four dining vaults on multiple floors before finally passing out with your publicist at the field goal-length table. Somewhere in there is tableside-made guacamole, some bocaditos like roasted plantain empanadas and baby octopus tostadas, lobster ceviche, a lamb shank mixiote steamed in avocado leaves and the more traditional whole boneless Mediterranean seabass Veracruzano.
