Much of the menu is the same at Lantern Thai's modern, mirrored second location (in what real-estate brokers might try to sell suckers as "Gramercy-adjacent") as in their popular first spot on poshy Montague in Brooklyn Heights. Earthy and woody, the only anomaly from their affordable Thai menu is an American brunch: eggs, bacon, home fries. Otherwise, the apps are dominated by solid veggie and seafood selections, like coconut shrimp with honey-chili sauce, while the main plates get richer, spicier and sweeter with a roasted pineapple duck breast and the chicken/shrimp/cashew combo called Nightingale Nest.
