Fancy-shmancy Williamsburg Thai eatery Sea Thai, with its dramatic Buddha statue and chic décor, always looked like a displaced Meatpacking District joint. No surprise, then, that they've now opened a location in—ha—the Meatpacking District, taking over the old Highline restaurant. The massive space—three floors, with two dining rooms and a lounge—seats up to 400 and maintains the original Highline's layout, but with an earthier color palette. The utilitarian menu, for now, remains identical to its Williamsburg brethren's—noodles, curry, beef/chicken/tofu stir-fry—down to the prices, with entrees hovering between $11 and $14. Yes, an $11 entrée in the Meatpacking District. And nope, we didn't write that drunk.
