This extension of a small midtown Thai chain is a chic island in the concrete of Tenth Avenue, offering Thai staples as well as more elaborate dishes. The prices are sensible—a bowl of rice costs a dollar—but some of the entrees run into the fifteen dollar range. Make sure to ask for the "secret menu," which has specials like fried catfish with mango, a combination so daring it's understandable why they don't post it on the door.
