Baked

Never mind its so off-the-beaten-path-there-is-no-path location: Brooklynites won't mind the short B77 bus trip; Manhattanites will cry, "Where are we?" Baked is easily the hippest, cutest sugar fix this side of the BQE. Though a variety of sweets and drinks are served (including a limited lunch menu), cupcakes and cakes are their specialty. We adore the Red Hook Red Hot (red velvet redux complete with Red Hot candies) and the Malted Chocolate Cake. With the bakery on-site, patrons can watch the works in progress while nibbling on a chosen sweet. All we can say is yummy.
