Sammy's Famous Romanian Restaurant
- Neighborhood: Lower East Side
- 157 Chrystie St.

Miss the good old days of chugging vodka in grandma's basement? Huh? Well, Sammy's is half old-fashioned Jewish family cooking, and half drunken vodka hall. Celebrities frequent this basement-decor-like restaurant on the Lower East Side, where prices are high, but you'll find some of the best cuts of Romanian steak (with a side of latkas!) around. Atmosphere is busy and chaotic, but that just adds to the fun.
