The Upper East Side beefs up its collection of Turkish spots (Beyoglu, Peri Ela) with this Third Avenue newcomer. If you somehow forgot that Turkish cuisine is markedly Mediterranean (chickpeas, olive oil and octopus galore), the restaurant’s Web site will tip you off. Nice domain grab! Turkish cooking is often defined by the prevalence of grilled meats, with the entrees here being much in the vein—baby lamb chops, fired meatballs and skewered chicken are all served. Seafood includes salmon and whole red snapper, with a line of pita pizzas (dotted with ground lamb) available as well.
