Where do I begin? Wow. New Years Eve. $100 pp. Included was a three course dinner and 3 hour open bar. The $100 was obviously for the open bar. Usually when I hear 3 course dinner at what looked like an upscale restaurant I don't expect fried chicken, collard greens (loaded with sugar), baby back ribs, fried calamari w/ bbq sauce and a variety of other "plates". The decor was very nice. But thats about it. If your looking for KFC with a very nice atmosphere then this is your spot!

After walking around the area my husband and I were in search of a new restarant. We spotted the awning and decided to dine at Lola's. Wow what a surprise. The food was great as well as the service. The space is also very romantic (we were there in the afternoon) and tacefully done. My husband had the fried chicken and I had the grits with shrimp. We can't wait to go back for dinner. I would highly reccomend Lola is Soul to any foodie:-)

Disappointing

The food was extremely disappointing. The atmosphere was very nice. They should have saved money on atmosphere and paid the Chef. The value was not there for the prices they are requesting. I was disappointed that I had to part ways with my money in this manner.
