Three boys from the same block in Sheepshead Bay have joined forces to tackle the dearth of food options on Roosevelt Island with a eatery and watering hole they hope has a little something for everyone. "We are trying to give people a ton of options so we can bring people back for dinner," says co-owner Jonathan Hoo. Per the name, an outdoor space offers a river view, while inside seating options range from sit-down tables for families to bar stools for those looking to swill beer and tug on wings over a sporting event on one 14 flat-screen TVs (it plans to show NFL games on Sunday, and open early mornings for worldwide soccer-league games). As for the fare, mornings kick off at 6 a.m. with hearty breakfast sandwiches and baked goods, followed by full breakfast breakfast options such as cornmeal pancakes filled with mushrooms, onions and crumbled bacon. Lunch brings nine types of burgers, while dinner includes heaping plates of steaks, pork chops or crab cakes. It may not be Manhattan, but it's a start.
