Bourbon and grilled-cheese sandwiches run aplenty in the old Art Land space in Williamsburg. Noorman's Kil not only brings over 200 whiskeys to the neighborhood, but a local bent by using cheese from Murray's, bread by Oven Artisans, My Friend's Mustard. Even their dessert grilled cheese contains jam from Anarchy in a Jar. "We are trying to do a lot of local produce," says owner Marcel Simoneau. He also has plans to plant herbs in their backyard, which already has lush grapevines growing with fruit you can actually just pick and eat. (Yes, you're allowed.) Other plans include biweekly whiskey tastings, and soon they'll be pairing bourbon with one of their seven grilled cheeses, including the delicious sounding Maefred, which has double-cream Brie, local mushrooms and rosemary.
