The recently relocated Permanent Records (formerly in Long Island) offers a relaxed environ where those looking to pick up a used Fall Out Boy album won't be stared down by those in pursuit of the first pressing of the limited-edition Captain Beefheart debut album on vinyl. Both their new and used selections of CDs and vinyl are vast, and boast bargain bins that aren't merely halfway houses for the dumpster (Strokes for 4$?). Permanent also doubles as a stage for local bands every Saturday afternoon.
