Boeing-Boeing

Zany British sex farces like this can offer a comfy, retro sensibility and this one's more cool and retro than most. Once the longest-running comedy in London theater history, "Boeing Boeing" is set in the golden era of the mid-1960s, just after the miniskirt and just before women's lib, when no girl was sexier than a stewardess. In fact, a swinging British architect is juggling three at once out of his Paris bachelor pad, with the help of his long-suffering housekeeper. You can expect more confusion than an episode of "Three's Company." The show stars Bradley Whitford ("The West Wing") and Christine Baranski ("Cybill"), but the real scene-stealing perf is by Mark Rylance, who won an Olivier Award for his turn as the inevitable best friend in the London run.
