Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of her first number one hit single, the erstwhile pop princess kicks off  a three week engagement of "Pop Goes Broadway"— a concert that's one part Broadway, one part pop, and one part new material at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City from May 4-24.

Apart from being a definitive pop star in the '80s and '90s, Gibson accepted a role in the Broadway production of "Les Miserables" as Eponine and from there, her career took a major theatrical turn. She appeared in the London West End production of "Grease" as Sandy, and then took the stage in the U.S. Broadway Tours of "Grease" and "Funny Girl" playing Rizzo and Fanny Brice respectively. Gibson also starred as Belle in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and Sally Bowles in "Cabaret," among others.
