In 2001, Amy’s success with “UCB” nabbed her a gig on “Saturday Night Live.” She joined Harry Shearer and Eddie Murphy as the only other “SNL”-er to go from featured player to fulltime cast member in their first season. She also became the first female cast member to convincingly play little boys.
