Named after New York's long-forgotten (and recently resurrected) elevated train system, this new Meatpacking District venue, seating 700 tops, is an intimate, well-booked space hosting critically-lauded acts like The Pipettes and Ghostface Killah. Owner Steve Bensusan, of Blue Note fame, isn't just a fan of the Highline as a marketing tool -- he has committed a $.25 donation for each ticket sold to fund the transformation of the Line into a public park.
