Unlike most steakhouse owners, who might have backgrounds in dry-aging and culinary arts, the two women pulling this bull by its horns are trained in fashion and party planning. That should explain quite a bit about this of glossy, stylish steakhouse—all lacquered up with leather, glass and a sultry lighting scheme. The menu—attempting to appeal to the fairer sex—includes foie gras French toast, shrimp rice krispies and grilled filets and loins that come in three sizes (super-, print- and wannabe-model). The multi-level space also houses Tenjune, an even trendier stop. If you want a fat fine porterhouse, drag your bib and butt to Peter Luger's; if you want faux Sex and the City and an chic, clubby take on a classic steakhouse, rest your bony behind here.
